This is us when:
- we can’t see any way out & God makes a way
- the enemy tries it & God blocks it
- we think it’s over but He says He’s just beginning with us.
Hello beautiful people!
So these past few months have been extremely challenging, emotionally & mentally exhausting for us BUT GOD.
It reminds me of the Sunday school song “With Jesus in the boat, I will smile at the storm…” and even though we haven’t exactly been smiling at the storm, we know we have Him on our side so we are in a comfortable lead.
The song I’ve had on repeat during these times is ‘I surrender’ by Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. When you’ve tried everything and nothing seems to be working, it just makes sense to lay it all at His feet and leave it. Just leave it there & not try to pick it back up. You know you can’t help yourself or do anything about your situation but He can.
I would just like to encourage and say a short prayer for anyone who is facing an extremely tight situation right now.
“Father I commit these precious ones into your mighty hands. You know them, you know their deepest heart desires. You know what they’re feeling and going through right now and I ask that you help them. It is my heartfelt prayer Father that you help anyone facing an unbearable situation like you help me every day. Father I pray that you wrap them in your arms, let your love envelope them and let them feel safe in the midst of the storm. May their faith in you be unwavering even though right now it seems easy to lose faith. Father please give them whatever they need to be okay. I know you always hear me father, so thank you for hearing me and doing this for us. Amen.”
Here are a few lines from the song ‘I Surrender’. You can sing along or even say it as a prayer:
“Humble and broken I come to you
I’m trusting and waiting to see what you will do.
Lord You know what’s best and at your feet I find my rest
I’m coming to you again Lord, here I am
I surrender, I surrender
Lord I surrender my life, give it all to you.”
Dear someone going through a hard time, please don’t give up. We’re in this together and God’s got us.
